Human Capital Development Corp., Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, prepares under-represented individuals to take the Apprenticeship Qualifying Test and be job ready in the construction crafts and manufacturing industries.
HCDC brings opportunities to individuals with an interest and aptitude for the skilled trades who have never had the chance to secure employment in this growing field. HCDC ensures trainees become better equipped to handle their daily lives and to diversity the building and construction trades talent pool with the inclusion of women, minorities and others interested in construction careers.
Transportation Alliance for New Solutions (TrANS) is sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the training is to serve the needs of the highway construction contractors who primarily work on WisDOT projects by ensuring a seamless supply of entry level laborers and qualified apprentices.
We are in the “PEOPLE” business. Therefore, our enrollees must engage in continuous and life long learning. To achieve this, we encourage them to have a library card and provide them with a reading list. (ie: The Great Gatsby; Grapes of Wrath and Native Son)
